Glasgow Scotland- Thomasina “Ina” Bell nee Cullen, 88 of Tinley Park, IL, went home to be with the Lord, Oct. 31, 2011. She is survived by her children: Gordon (Patricia) Bell of Fort Wayne, IN; Geri (Tom) McManus of Tinley Park, Sheila (Mike) Johnson of New Lenox; grandchildren: James (Nicole), Matthew (Jamie) Bell; Heather (Jeremiah) Murphy, Amber (Brent) Cashman, Ian (Angela), Rachel, Robert McManus; Daniel, David Johnson; great-grandchildren: Tori, Lexi, Livi Bell, Aiden, Ciara Bailey, Ruairi, Cullen Murphy; Nathan, Noah, Luke Cashman; Kaden, Peighton, Aila McManus, Dylan Kluk, and sister Mazie (late John) Barnes, Glasgow Scotland. Preceded in death by her parents: Thomas and Agnes (nee Rae) Cullen, six siblings and her husband James Bell on Feb. 10, 1990. Ina met James in Glasgow Scotland where she was working for the Admiralty and he was in the Royal Canadian Navy during WWII. She immigrated to Canada by way of Ellis Island. Married in 1947 the Bells lived in Winnipeg, Canada and moved to Oak Park, IL before settling in Tinley Park where she resided for the last 52 years. Visitation will be held Wed., Nov. 2nd, from 3 p.m. -9 p.m. at Heartland Memorial Center, 7151 183rd St., Tinley Park. Visitation at Parkview Christian Church 11100 Orland Parkway (183rd and Wolf Rd.), Orland Park, IL 60462, Thur., Nov.3rd, from 10 a.m.- 11a.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be directed to The MOPS Program at Parkview Christian Church or the Military Order of the Purple Heart.
