Stephanie H. Freberg nee Haus, 95, recently of Homewood, IL, formerly of Venice, FL, Chicago Heights and Chicago, IL, passed away May 23, 2010. Survived by her sons: Paul Freberg of Calumet City, IL, John (Jamie) Freberg, and grandsons: Daniel and Craig, and was preceded in death by husband Stanley John Freberg in 1972, and her siblings: Olga Karp, John Haus, and Elizabeth Gruber. Mrs. Freberg retired from Wisconsin Steel and had waitressed at the Stockyard Inn. She attended Salem Lutheran Church in IL and had been a member of Lakeside Lutheran Church in FL. Visitation will be held Tue., May 25, from 4-9 p.m. at Heartland Memorial Center, 7151 183rd St., Tinley Park, IL, with Funeral Service Wed., 11:00 a.m. at Salem Lutheran Church, 18324 Ashland Avenue, Homewood, IL.
