Robert J. "Bob" Heenan

Robert J. "Bob" Heenan, age 58, passed away on July 22, 2014. Beloved husband of 30 years to Jill (née Fulsang) Heenan. Devoted father of Megan Heenan (Stephen Fox) of Milwaukee, Katie Heenan (Joshua Parker) of Vermont, and Ellen Heenan of Clarendon Hills. Son of the late Thomas and Catherine (née Kenney) Heenan. Loving brother of John Heenan of California, Thomas (Donna) Heenan of Tinley Park, and James Heenan of Orland Park. Son-in-law of Marian and the late Larry Fulsang of Plainfield. Kind brother-in-law of Barb (late Mark) Layer, Dawn (Steve) Pelletier, Maria (Frank) Hutchinson, and Paul Fulsang. Fond uncle of 11 nephews. He had many lifelong friends who will miss his humor and friendship. Robert was a proud graduate of Brother Rice High School, Northern Illinois University and the University of Oregon. Robert was a teacher and coach for track and cross country at Grissom Middle School in Tinley Park for 25 years. Prior to joining the Grissom staff, he taught at Rickover Jr. High School in Sauk Village. Visitation Sunday, July 27, from 4-9 p.m. and Monday, July 28, from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at Heartland Memorial Center, 7151 W. 183rd Street, Tinley Park. Interment private.
