March 29, 1934 - June 23, 2015

Rita Rose (nee Petricek) age 81, passed away on June 23, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Howard Rose. Loving mother of Lisa Rose of Steger, the late Mark Sr. (Mary Ann) Rose of Crete, Kevin (Patti) Rose of Tinley Park and Jeffrey (Christine) Rose of New Lenox. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer Rose, Nicole Rose, Mark Rose Jr., Kelly Rose, Kayleigh Legno, Allison Rose, Austin Cole and Logan Cole. Dear sister of Carol Dewey of Eugene, Oregon and the late Judith Dykema. Rita was a 1952 graduate of Bloom Township High School and worked as a legal secretary for Maurino Richton and Don Arnell. She was an active member of St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church and School in Chicago Heights and was in the church choir. She was a Cub Scout Den Mother and belonged to the Happy Swingers Square Dance Club. Rita was also the former treasurer of the Chicago Heights Park District Seniors. Visitation Thursday, June 25th from 3 until 9 p.m. at Heartland Memorial Center, 1340 Otto Blvd., Chicago Heights. Funeral Friday, June 26th, Visitation 10 a.m. until time of Service at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, 330 Highland Drive, Chicago Heights. Interment St. Paul's Ev.
