MILLER, LAURETTA (nee Krapf), age 92 of Tinley Park, died May 21, 2012. Loving mother of Keith (Denise) Miller of Tinley Park & Dale Miller of Oak Forest; cherished grandmother of Scott (Trista) Miller, Marie Miller, & Jenny (Gary) Riley; caring great-grandmother of Jimmy Riley, Ryan Riley, Toby Riley, Bradley Miller, & Cassidy Miller. Preceded in death by husband, Robert G. Miller (1982) & son, Craig (1967). Lauretta was born in Chicago on June 22, 1919. She lived in Tinley Park from 1952-1986. After 17 years in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin she moved back to Tinley Park in 2003. She graduated from Providence High School & attended Thornton Community College. She worked for the Orland Park School District for 14 years as a teachers’ aid in Special Education & as an assistant librarian. She attended Bible Class at St. George & was on the PTA. She was a member of the Homemakers’ Association. Funeral Mass is Friday, May 25, at 10 a.m. at St. George Church, Tinley Park; followed by burial at Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood, IL.
