Ferol E. Redman (nee Cole) of Village Woods in Crete formerly of Homewood, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2010 at the age of 100. She was born in Chicago Hts on July 10, 1910 to Alma and George Cole. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, her brother Donald and her loving husband Arthur. She became a member of the 1st Presbyterian Church in Chicago Hts. at the age of 12. She will be remembered by friends and family for her joy of living her positive attitude. During her lifetime she was an active member of the church circles, loved to play Bridge and other games and was an avid Cub fan. Most of her friends and family remember her for her poems she wrote to so many. She will also be remembered fondly by her friends from Freedom Village of Homewood and Village Woods in Crete. Ferol was retired from The Tile-Tex Div. of The Flintkote Co in Chicago Hts. where she worked as a secretary. She is survived by her niece, Susan (Ronald) Cappelletti and nephew, Donald (Roxie) Cole and their respective families. Visitation will be held Heartland Memorial Center 1340 Otto Blvd., Chicago Heights, IL Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2010 from 2:00PM-7:00PM. Funeral will be held on Thursday, Oct. 21st at 10:00AM at Heartland Memorial Center.
